We're a US company in Fort Worth, Texas, with our own furniture factory in Jodhpur, making and sourcing furniture and home goods across India for American and European brands. You sign with us, you approve a physical sample before every run, and we answer for the order until it's at the port.

- A US company, start to finish
- Desert Kingdom Traders, LLC is based in Fort Worth, Texas. You contract with us and pay us, and if something goes wrong with the order, it's ours to fix. We don't introduce you to a factory and step away.
- You approve a sample before every run
- Nothing goes into production until you've approved a physical sample, including rush orders. We make two, send you one and keep one at the factory, and the run is checked against it before anything is packed. You get photos before the container is sealed.
- First import or fiftieth, the paperwork is ours
- We quote FOB Nhava Sheva by default, and EXW or DDU if you'd rather. If you don't want to arrange freight, we'll manage it to your door for a flat $200 a container, $100 for LCL or $50 by air. The terms page covers the rest in plain English.
Four ways to get your product made
Some buyers bring a production drawing. Others bring a sketch, a product they want matched, or a category they need filled. We can start from any of those, and most orders use more than one of these four.

We work in the part of India that makes your product
Indian manufacturing is organized into clusters, towns where most of the workshops make one kind of thing. A town that doesn't specialize in your product usually can't make it as well.
Furniture is made and finished by hand in our own factory in Jodhpur. Everything else goes to the cluster that specializes in it, so the first thing we do with your project is work out where it should be made.

Dream, Design, Craft, Ship
It's the same four phases for one product or a full container. Samples take up to two weeks, you approve one before anything is produced, rush orders included, and production runs 50 to 60 days after that. Need it sooner? Under 40 days is possible for 5% more.

We turn the idea into a drawing with dimensions and tolerances, then build one and ship it to you.

Furniture is made in our Jodhpur factory and other products at the workshop we placed you with, always against the sample you approved.

We pack, book, document, and hand it to your forwarder at Nhava Sheva.

I'm launching a product
You're launching your first or second product and you don't want to order more than you can sell. We'll give you our minimum before you commit. If you need fewer, a first order below it usually costs 10 to 15% more per unit, and we'll pack it FBA-ready if it's going to Amazon.

You buy by the container and you're comparing suppliers. Production runs 50 to 60 days after sample approval, payment is 30% up front and 70% on shipment, and we quote FOB or door-to-door. The rest is on the terms page.
